The arrests were made during vehicle checking from a Katra-bound passenger mini-bus at Moorie village, the official said.
He said that the police was busy in routine vehicle checking near the town, which serves as the base camp for the pilgrims visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, when some people, boarding a private car, left the vehicle and boarded a mini-bus.
The police got suspicious and stopped the vehicle for checking, he said, adding that the police seized three kilograms of Charas and five grams of smack from six people.
