6-year-old raped in UP village

A six-year-old girl was
allegedly raped by a youth in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, police said today.
The girl was playing in her house in village Khoolpur with other children while her family had gone to visit some relatives.
The accused, identified as Babloo, who was a guest in a neighbouring house, entered the victim's house and took her to a nearby garden on the pretext of giving her some eatable.
He gagged the girl and raped her in the garden. After committing the crime, he fled from the scene, police said.
Villagers informed the police about the incident after children spotted the victim lying in an unconscious state in the garden.

The girl has been sent to a government hospital and the report of medical examination is awaited, Inspector Rampal Singh said.
A case has been registered and a hunt is on to nab the accused who is absconding, police said.
