60 years old woman, son found dead inside flat

A woman and her son were today found dead in a pool of blood inside a flat here, with the police suspecting that the latter shot his mother and killed himself.
Mandeep Kaur (60) and her son Gurdeep Singh (34) were found dead with bullet injuries inside a flat in a multi-story building in Limbodi area, said inspector Girish Kavrati of Tejaji Nagar police station.
Gurdeep worked with a private finance company.
He was found holding a pistol in his hand, suggesting that he first killed his mother and then shot himself, the police officer said, while hastening to add that this possibility was yet to be thoroughly investigated.

Police recovered a letter from his possession which was being examined.
Police were also talking to the relatives of the deceased, the inspector said.
