65.46 per cent votes polled in 2nd phase in J'khand

A total of 65.46 per cent votes were cast in 20 of the 81 assembly seats in second phase of the five-phased state elections today.
The polling concluded peacefully in all the constituencies, Chief Electoral Officer P K Jajoria said.
Re-polling was also held peacefully at one booth in Garhwa seat and two in Chhatarpur constituency.
Total 61.92 per cent voters exercised their franchise in the first phase of the polls in 13 seats on November 25. Polling for third phase of elections in 17 seats will be held on December 9.
Polling for the two remaining phases would be held on December 14 and 20.
