68 arrested, 664 liqour bottles seized

: A total of 68 persons have been arrested and 664 liquor bottles seized from them while they trying to sell them at various places in the district on Independence Day, police said.
The administration had ordered closure of liquor outlets yesterday in view of Independence day and a strict vigil was being maintainted to check violations, police said today.
A total of 27 persons were arrested from various places in the city limits and seized 251 liquor bottles from them.
Similarly, 41 persons were taken into custody when they were trying to sell liquor in rural limits, and 413 bottles seized from them, police said.
