A case has been registered against Zila Panchayat member Vinod Yadav and his six associates who approached Sub Inspector Mahendra Pal Singh of Kotwali Saket to mediate in an attempt to murder case, they said.
When the Sub Inspector refused to close the case against the accused, the group threatened to kill him, police said.
No arrests have been made so far, they said, adding that efforts are on to nab the culprits.
