Additional District and Sessions Judge Harimohan Gupta yesterday passed the judgement and sentenced the convicted persons -- identified as Laxman, Mohan, Ranglal, Bhoja, Udda, Gopal and Shankar, all residents of Matunda village -- to life imprisonment for the murder of one Ramdutt Gujar (42) of Jaleda village.
The court also imposed a penalty of Rs 5,000 each on the seven, who were convicted for their attack on the victim with sticks and sharp weapons in Matunda village near Bundi on June 30, 2012, leading to his death from the injuries four days later.
