Of the total 2.3 lakh candidates who appeared the examination in arts, 1.75 lakh have successfully cleared it recording a pass percentage of 76.31, Higher Education Minister Pradeep Panigrahi said.
As many as 75,434 out of 93,920 examinees have passed in science, while 22,391 students out of 32, 226 in commerce cleared the examination recording a per centage of 80.31 per cent and 69.48 per cent respectively.
While Nayagrah district has topped in arts stream with a pass rate of 87.92 per cent, tribal dominated Rayagada district recorded lowest rate of 61.08 per cent. Balasore scored highest pass rate of 92.60 per cent in science and Jharsuguda has lowest rate of 57.96 per cent.
The male and female percentage in Arts is 70.16 and 81.49 while in Science and Commerce, the ratio is 78.51 and 83.23 and 66.80 and 75.76 respectively.
