At least eight people, including two children, were killed and 17 others injured when a fire broke out in China's Zhejiang province today.
The blaze gutted three residential houses in Wenling City. The fire fighters managed to douse the flame after one hour, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Five of the six persons died in the fire were migrant workers from outside the province.
Fire fighters rescued 17 people. One of them was severely injured, while the others only sustained minor injuries.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is on.
