8 killed as car ploughs into villagers watching movie roadside

Eight people were killed and over 12 others injured when a speeding car ploughed into a group of villagers watching movie on a projector at a roadside in Mitauli area here.
The villagers sitting on the footpath near Khurda village were watching a movie last night after a function when the speeding Indica car ran over them, police said today.
In the accident four persons were killed on the spot, while four others succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital, police said.
The deceased included five children and a woman.
About 12 other villagers were injured in the accident.
