Flagging off the emergency vehicles, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said these were equipped with equipment of international standard.
Hooda said the state has set a target of getting 500 ambulances under the referral transport service.
At present, there are 411 vehicles operational under the service which was launched in 2009 to provide free medical transport to the people.
The service has provided transport to 4.5 lakh patients this year as compared to 53,000 in 2009 when it was launched, Principal Health Secretary Navraj Sandhu said.
