This is the second consecutive year when 'Prayas' boarding school yielded promising results.
"Out of 138 students, 106 students of mathematics section from Prayas had participated in AIEEE, in which 85 successfully cleared it," an official said here today in a statement.
Last year, 222 students had participated in the AIEEE exam, out of which 151 students were selected, the statement said.
The Chhattisgarh government had launched 'Prayas' in July 2010, under which meritorious students from Maoist-affected districts and other tribal areas were given boarding facilities in a residential school in the Gudhiyari area of the state capital and given coaching along with regular studies at the higher secondary level.
