Under the contract, 8K Miles will work with the Kantara Initiative as a trust framework provider for the US government and other agencies, the company promoted by serial IT entrepreneur Suresh Venkatachari said in a statement today.
The Kantara Initiative is a global organisation innovating and harmonising public and private sector. It was the first approved US trust framework provider operating programmes validating technical deployment interoperability, policy binding and organisational trustworthiness.
8K Miles, which has a global presence, will work as the first Kantara certification testing lab ready to validate many government certification profiles. The pilot programme leverages 8K Miles' cloud-based testing lab.
"Kantara's interoperability testing and certification programme, stressing a streamlined way of rapidly onboarding applications, will help bring value to all stakeholders," said Lena Kannappan, COO at 8KMiles.
