The seizures were made by personnel from Prohibition and Excise department and police in this district of the State, officials said.
In the first case, police and Excise Department personnel seized 200 kgs of ganja and arrested four drug peddlers, who were travelling in a car, in Nellimetta area under Narsipatnam mandal, they said.
However, three other persons, including the car driver and owner of the vehicle fled from the scene.
Excise Inspector M Jaganmohan Rao said the car was intercepted after receiving a tip-off that contraband was being smuggled in it.
