94-year-old dies, two sisters shifted to hospital

In a bizarre case, two elderly sisters kept the body of their 94-year-old sibling for two days in their house at nearby Pachalam not knowing what to do with it.
After foul smell emanated from the closed house today, neighbours informed the police who found the decomposed body of Alli.
While one of the two surviving sisters is mentally unstable, the other is physically weak, police said.
Last month, a 45-year-old adopted daughter of the three sisters was also found dead in a similar manner.
North Town police said the two sisters have been shifted to the isolation ward of the General Hospital here.

The three sisters kept to themselves and never mingled with their neighbours.
