India's top designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani and Ritu Kumar are part of a three-day luxury wedding fair, which offers would-be brides and grooms the opportunity to get assistance for their dream D-day.
The third installment of 'Vogue Wedding Show', which began today, also features names like Anita Dongre, Anju Modi, JADE, Monisha Jaising, Shantanu & Nikhil, Varun Bahl, Vineet Bahl and acclaimed Pakistani designer Sania Maskatiya.
"Indian weddings for me should always have that 'Indian-ness' in it which comes a lot through the clothes which the bride and the groom wear. Your wedding memories stay with you all your life and should have that essence of where you belong," Sabyasachi said.
Although, gowns were the most common silhouette in the exhibition, designs and inspiration on garments were ethnic and traditional.
"Brides today are open to experiment with their looks and the collection I have displayed here is very much for the contemporary Indian bride. It is always great to come to such exhibition, meet and help your clients face-to-face," said Bahl.
Th fair has a special "Saree Pavillion", featuring sarees from all over the country.
"Wedding in India are a celebration of love, the coming together of families and the beauty of tradition. At our three-day-long exhibition, we have curated the most luxurious and custom-made wedding services in the bridal world, to help turn the wedding of your dreams into reality," said Priya Tanna from Vogue India.
