Even the five police personnel present in the court did not give their counter to the case filed by Hussain and Rafiq.
The petitioners submitted that former corporation councillors P S Abdul Khader and his wife Ralia Baanu using their influence filed a false case against them allging they attempted to break the seal of the closed slaughter centre and prevented the police officials from discharging the duty.
A court had earlier acquitted both of them, saying it was a foisted case filed with an ulterior motive.
