"Our alliance is not a political one or an ideological one, but that of governance... A new chapter has now begun in Jammu and Kashmir," Singh said at a book release event here.
He said the atmosphere created by separatist forces and terrorists in the state was now changing.
"Some infiltrators had come during the Amarnath Yatra, but none of them could succeed," he said adding, there was a new environment in the state now.
