The party's cell would be led by Parminder Singh Veerji who was elected as the unit's president by around 500 members.
Constituting a five-member body, Jaswant Singh Arora was elected as the Convener, Pritpal Singh Saluja as Senior Vice President, Davinder Singh Sahni as Vice President and Balwinder Singh Renu as the General Secretary.
Kejriwal said the community has played a very important role in the development of the country.
The five-member body was elected at an event organised at Constitution Club.
Speaking at the event, AAP leader Kumar Vishwas said right from the time of Independence, when Bhagat Singh sacrificed his life, till today the community has been pivotal in putting India on the road to success.
"However, corruption within the government has led to delayed justice of 1984 riot victims," he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Veerji said that the entire Sikh community of Delhi was now with Aam Aadmi Party in its fight against corruption.
