AAP leader Ilyas Azmi attends Swaraj Abhiyan's event

AAP leader Ilyas Azmi, who is a member of the party's Political Affairs Committee (PAC), was seen at an event organised by Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan-led Swaraj Abhiyan in the city.
The development has set off speculations on whether Azmi was siding with the rebels, who were expelled by Aam Aadmi Party earlier this year.
Azmi confirmed his presence at the event, an education summit, but said that he had gone to meet "a friend" from Uttar Pradesh, who was a part of the programme.
He, however, refused to elaborated further. Azmi, a founder-member of AAP, had contested the 2014 Lok Sabha polls from Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri.
