"Today morning all the 10 traders were released in a Meghalaya forest area near Gasuapara unconditionally," district SP Anand Mishra said.
The traders were presently at Gasuapara outpost and in good health. They will be escorted to their residences after being examined, he said.
Armed militants had abducted the traders hailing from Mancachar area of Assam on October 28. The incident took place near a forest area at Bilkona when the traders were on their way to a weekly market.
