Station House Officer Subodh Saxena said Priyanshu, who was kidnapped on January 20 by Neeraj and Kishan, was rescued from the jungles of Farukh Nagar near old Hindan river bridge.
According to police, the child's father Rajkumar had received an amount of Rs 8 lakh from the sale of their ancestral property.
One of the abductors, Neeraj had earlier worked as mason at Rajkumar's house and was staying in their house as a tenant, the SHO said.
Neeraj, along with his friend Kisan, planned the kidnap of Priyanshu to get the money.
As per a planned move chalked out by the police, Rajkumar had called the kidnappers and fixed their meeting to give them the ransom amount, he said.
When the kidnappers came to take the money, police seized the opportunity and rescued the child.
An FIR of kidnapping was lodged at Muradnagar police station, the SHO said, adding, the kidnappers have been sent to jail.
