Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is the new entrant to the "Housefull" franchise, says he was initially nervous to do the third film of the series.
The "Housefull" franchise has had Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh as a constant feature and the "Dostana" actor for the first time will be seen in this laugh riot.
"I was very nervous when I came to know that I will be doing the film. I do one franchise 'Dhoom' in which I am there and those who come new on the board are nervous. I used to wonder why be nervous. I understood when I started working on 'Housefull 3'. It was nerve wrecking," Abhishek told reporters here today at the trailer launch of "Housefull 3".
"I was nervous as there were two best actors (Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh) who have good comic timing. It's ('Housefull') the best franchise, it has not let the fans down. I worked hard but it was fun working on the film," the "Guru" star added.
Abhishek, 40, and Riteish have worked together in "Bluffmaster" while Abhishek and Akshay did "Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya".
"It was fun working with Ritiesh after long time. We were in touch. You just pick up from where you left. I am happy I got opportunity to work with Akshay, Ritiesh," Abhishek added.
The Sajid-Farhad directed film, which features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Chunkey Pandey, is slated to release on June 3.
The trailer launch was showcased in over 100 cities on the big screens at the same time.
