The police today claimed to have arrested an absconder, wanted for his alleged involvement in several crimes, in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
Acting on a tip-off, a police party launched a manhunt in various areas of Kalakote belt in the district and arrested the absconder Rajinder Singh, a police officer said.
He said that Singh is also an accused in an alleged rape case registered at Kalakote Police Station in 2014 and he was evading arrest since then.
