Absconder reaches court to surrender, abducted by rival gang

An absconder in a murder case was allegedly abducted by the rival gang while he had gone to a district court here to surrender, police said today.
Ismail, a resident of Nahali village and accused in an attempt to murder case had been evading arrest for long, Kavinagar SHO Ashok Sisodia said.
The accused today reached the district court to surrender when he was abducted by the opposite party, he said.
A case has been registered against seven persons at Kavinagar police station following the complaint by the accused's brother, Sisodia added.
