ACB arrests Junior Engineer, middleman for accepting bribe

A junior engineer of electricity department and his aide were today arrested for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 30,000 from a farmer in Jalore district in Rajasthan.
The accused engineer, Rajendra Kumar, had allegedly demanded the bribe through his middleman Hansaram from one Taar Singh for shifting power connection of his well to somewhere else, Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sources said here.
After verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and the accused were arrested.
