ACB books veterinary assistant in Rs 2.25 crore DA case

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today unearthed assets worth about Rs 2.25 crore allegedly amassed by a veterinary assistant in Medak district of Telangana.
"A case of disproportionate assets was registered against G Venkteshwar Reddy, veterinary assistant surgeon at veterinary dispensary in Kistareddypet of Medak district and simultaneous searches were conducted at the office, residences of Reddy and his relatives at Gachibowli and Miyapur here," an ACB release said.
"During the searches, one duplex house, seven open plots, one car, one locker at a bank with diamond jewellery worth Rs 11 lakh were found. The market value of the properties is about Rs 2.25 crore," the ACB said adding that Reddy will be arrested.
