ACB seizes unaccounted cash from check post in Rajasthan

Anti-Corruption Bureau today conducted a surprise inspection of a commercial tax check post and seized unaccounted cash worth Rs 13,500 in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan.
Acting on a tip off, the ACB team led by Additional SP Rajesh Chaudhary conducted the inspection and seized the unaccounted money, an official said.
The check post staff - Upper Division Clerk Rajendra Kumar and a class IV employee, Gautam Meena - had been asking Rs 100 more besides the tax from trucks transporting marble, the official said.
