Ace shuttler Sindhu joins Swachh Bharat campaign

Ace shuttler P V Sindhu today joined the cleanliness campaign undertaken by Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway (SCR) here as part of 'Swachh Bharat Mission'.
The shuttler on the occasion appealed to people to help railways in maintaining cleanliness at station premises and inside compartments to ensure a happy and pleasant travel.
"In sync with our Prime Minister's clarion call, every one of us have the responsibility to maintain cleanliness. We have to stop littering, spitting to keep our surrounding clean," she said at the programme held at the Lingampally railway station here.
Senior railway officials, Lingampally railway station staffers and students participated in large numbers in the campaign.

Earlier, Sindhu participated in the 'Shram Daan' by sweeping the railway premises and planting trees, a SCR release said.
