There was something mysterious about the agreement for the project which was signed during the Congress led UDF government headed by Oommen Chandy, Achuthanandan said.
Taking up the issue in the assembly as a submission, Achuthanandan said LDF government cannot ignore the the alleged wrong doing under the cover of continuation of governance.
The Chandy government had signed the project for the rs 7525 crore project and Rs 5273 crore was to have been contributed by the state government as per the agreement.
The Gautam Adani-led Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone had signed the agreement in December 2015 to build the port, which will be a trans-shipment terminal.
