CPI-M veteran and Leader of the Opposition in Kerala assembly V S Achuthanandan today said he did not favour including TMC led by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the Left fold to keep BJP away from power.
"I cannot agree with the view that Left parties would not mind co-operating with TMC as that party has been indulging in attack against political opponents", he told reporters here.
Responding to a question on CPI leader A B Bardhan's statement that to keep the BJP away from power the Left would not mind even co-operating with Mamata Banerjee.'I cannot agree with this view, Achuthanandan added.
TMC have violated all norms to sabotage the poll process in West Bengal, he alleged.
Referring to the exit polls, Achuthanandan said these results could not be believed completely. It was better to wait two more days to know the real results.
Asked whether he accepted the exit poll predictions that LDF would get 12 seats out of 20 in Kerala, he said LDF would do better in Kerala and their performance in West Bengal would be better than the last polls.
"LDF will do well in Kerala. We may get 12 to 13 seats. Despite the attacks by Trinamool Congress workers, Left Front will improve its tally also in West Bengal" he said.
