Action against stone crushing units for illegal mining

Four stone crushing units engaged in illegal mining were sealed today in Bajpur area of Udham Singh Nagar district, police said.
Lalkuan Stone Crusher Ltd, Raj Laxmi Crusher, Himalayan Build Stone Crusher and Kosi Mineral Stone Crusher were seized in Bajpur area of the district after irregularities were found with these firms during raids by a mining vigilance team led by DIG Sanjay Gunjyal, an official release here said.
Opposition BJP in Uttarakhand has alleged a mining scam worth thousands of crores of rupees in the state.
