Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot on Tuesday assured the House that action will be taken against officers involved in delaying payments to workers under MNREGA scheme.
Replying to a question during Question Hour, Pilot said payment of labour related work is given by the state whereas payment of material is borne by the Centre.
He said the state had to get Rs 1,500 crore from the Centre and had received only Rs 400 crore and payments are being made.
Pilot, who holds rural development and panchayati raj department portfolio, told the House that nearly 95 per cent payment under labour component has been made and the remaining payment will be made in 15 days.
He said payments related to permanent construction work will be made after remaining Rs 1,100 crore is received from the Centre.
