"Chief Information Commissioner Prashant Tendolkar is illegally and blatantly using red beacon on his official car in clear defiance of law and amounting to gross contempt of Supreme Court's order," Rodrigues stated in the complaint to Chief Secretary R K Srivastava yesterday.
"It is surprising that law enforcement officers who are fully aware about this violation have failed to take action against Tendolkar only because he is politically well connected," he alleged.
Tendolkar was not available for comments.
