Total income from operations during April-June period of current fiscal rose to Rs 287.98 crore from Rs 285.99 crore in the same period of 2014-15 fiscal.
Earlier this month, the shareholders had approved the merger of Aditya Birla with Grasim Industries. The two companies of Aditya Birla Group are being merged in order to consolidate similar businesses under one roof.
Aditya Birla Chemicals is the manufacturer of chlor-alkali and has three manufacturing plants located at Rehla (Jharkhand), Renukoot (Uttar Pradesh) and Karwar (Karnataka) with an installed capacity of 2,93,000 tonnes of caustic soda per annum and 110 MW of captive power plant.
