Advani meets top RSS leaders

BJP patriarch L K Advani arrived here this morning from New Delhi and headed straight to the RSS headquarters where he is meeting Sangh leaders.
Advani's visit assumes significance as he preferred to meet the RSS leadership a day after attending the party's parliamentary board meeting with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, who is in the city, and general secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi were meeting Advani.
The BJP top leaders have been making a beeline to meet RSS leaders here.
Yesterday, former party president Murli Manohar Joshi met Bhagwat and Bhaiyyaji Joshi while BJP president Rajnath Singh is scheduled to meet Sangh leaders on Saturday.

Advani arrived on a service flight from Delhi and will return by the same, party sources said.

He was received by state party unit president Devendra Phadanvis.
Incidentally, former BJP president Nitin Gadkari is abroad and will return on July 11.
Rajnath Singh will arrive here on Saturday morning and later proceed to Kolkata, sources said.
