Afghan Governors on India visit to study e-governance

Governors of 20 states of Afghanistan today visited Pipaliya Meera village in the district to study e-governance.
"The team is currently on a visit to India to study e-governance," Prof Vinod Sharma of the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) said after they were welcomed by Pipaliya Meera residents.
The team's visit has been initiated by the IIPA.
The Afghan Governors will also visit other states in the country to study the e-governance measures implemented by the local governing bodies, Prof Sharma said.
