Commander of Afghan Border Police Lieutenant General Shafiq Fazli visited Corps Headquarters here and called on Corps Commander Lieutenant General Hidayat ur Rehman.
Matters related to border security and measures to enhance the existing border coordination mechanism were discussed, officials said.
Delegation also visited Fort Balahisar and met with Inspector General Frontier Corps, Major General Tayyab Azam and discussed matters of professional and mutual interest.
Corps Commander Peshawar had visited Afghanistan on January 18 and the current visit of Afghan delegation is a sequel to the series of meetings planned on both sides of the border to boost military to military cooperation between the two armies, they said.
