The 32-year-old actor and the grandson of singer Mukesh, who celebrates his birthday today, has become the butt of jokes for his three-part name.
The actor took the jokes in good spirit and even retweeted some of his favourites.
"Seriously laughing that I am trending. Some rather interesting ones out there. Re-tweeting my seven favourite. Enjoy!," the actor tweeted.
The actor's triple name had the creative minds at work on Twitter with people sharing it quickly.
"What Neil Nitin Mukesh can do but SRK or Salman can't. Group discussion with himself!," one tweet read.
"Neil Nitin Mukesh is the only person involved in love triangle," another Twitter user shared
"Neil Nitin Mukesh's was the only student who could opt Science, Commerce and Arts after 10th," another joke read.
Prior to Mukesh, actor Alok Nath, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Tamil megastar Rajanikant and TV show CID had been a rage among people using Twitter and Facebook.
