AGC Networks' MD SK Jha resigns; to join Aegis

AGC Networks today said its Managing Director S K Jha has resigned from the post and the company board as he is moving to a larger role in Aegis Ltd.
"S K Jha is moving to a larger role at Aegis Limited and has therefore, resigned from the board and also from the position of the Managing Director of AGC Networks Limited," the company said in a statement.
Aegis is Essar's business process outsourcing unit.
The board is in the process of appointing CEO/MD with extensive domain expertise, it added.
In the interim, a team of Directors and company leaders will manage the operations of the company.
"AGC Networks has today announced plans to restructure its management to maintain its competitiveness in an evolving IT& ITes market," the statement said.
The company said it has appointed Sanjeev Verma as the Executive Director and Neeraj Gupta as a Non-Executive Director on the board.
AGC Networks is a Global ICT solutions provider offering applications and services in unified communications, network infrastructure, data center and virtualisation and enterprise applications.
Its alliance partners include firms like Avaya, Juniper, NICE Systems, Aspect, HP, Polycom, Cisco and Microsoft.
