Agreement signed for ropeway in Sabrimala to carry goods

Travancore Devaswom Board, managing the famous Lord Ayyappa temple at hill shrine Sabarimala, today singed a construction agreement with a Kolkata based company to built a ropeway in Sabarimala to transport goods to top of the hill.
Ropeway was planned from footill Pamba to Sannidhanam to carry goods. The agreement was singed with Kolkata based Damodar Ropeway Company, the release said.
Millions of Ayyappa devotees from different parts of the country and abroad visit the Temple during the main festival season-Mandala-Makarvvilaku-from November to January every year.
