AIADMK candidate files nomination for Pudukottai bypoll
Thondaiman, his cover candidate D Karuppiah and two Independents filed their nominations for the June 12 bypoll, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) said in a statement.
DMK has announced that it is boycotting the by-election, necessitated due to the death of CPI MLA P Muthukumaran in a road accident, leaving former allies AIADMK and DMDK to fight it out.
DMDK has fielded N Jahir Hussain as its candidate.
