AIADMK leader Visalatchi Nedunchezhiyan passes away
92-year old Visalatchi, wife of late AIADMK veteran V R Neduchezhiyan, was ailing for some time and declared dead at a hospital after being rushed there.
AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa condoled the death of Visalatchi, who is survived by a son.
In her condolence message, Jayalalithaa expressed grief over the death of Visalatchi and hailed her loyalty to the party and its high command.
"Her demise is a irreplaceable loss to AIADMK," she said in a party statement.
