Welcoming the decision of the Congress high command, KPCC President V M Sudheeran said "this type of reorganisation by holding discussion with all concerned has not been held in the state in the past."
Younger generation and also women representation has been ensured in the reorganisation, he said adding "DCC Presidents are the backbone of the party".
All the new District Congress Committee Presidents were comparatively younger leaders with an average age of below 50 years, he said.
The reorganisation of KPCC level would be held soon, he said, adding, the party would move forward unitedly with the support of all together.
The new leadership included Kerala Mahila Congress President Bindu Krishna, who has been appointed as DCC President of Kollam.
