The accused Srivallabh had escaped with Anandpal and another criminal Subhas Moond from the custody of police when they were being taken back to Ajmer jail from a Nagaur's court in September last year.
Following a tip off, several teams of police conducted a combing operation and caught Srivallabh in Jaswantgarh town yesterday. He was placed under arrest today, SP (Nagaur) Paris Deshmukh said.
Srivallabh is a close aide of Anandpal and had played a key role in the escape on September 3 last year.
