Telecom major Bharti Airtel's Chief Product officer Anand Chandrasekaran has put down his papers after a brief stint of just about a year.
"Proud of @WynkMusic, My Airtel, Airtel money product reboots and especially the team... Will miss working with them every day. Really grateful for the opportunity to help kick off Airtel's product journey in India. Excited for what's ahead," Chandrasekaran tweeted today.
Chandrasekaran was responsible for product conceptualisation, design and delivery as well as driving strategic technology partnerships.
When contacted, Airtel spokesperson said, "After leading the transformation of product portfolio function at Airtel, Anand has decided to move on to pursue his own business venture. He was instrumental in giving the function a new direction and has helped build products such as myAirtel App."
Chandrasekaran profile at a social media website mentions that he was responsible for driving product strategy and roadmap for Wynk Music, Airtel Money, API products etc as well as product and operations for Airtel Online-- an e-commerce service with over 28 million monthly users.
In March, Airtel's Executive Director for Human Resource (India and South Asia) Srikanth Karra resigned within a year of joining the company.
