The film will see the duo share screen space together after 17 years and will go on floor in August this year.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh broke the news on Twitter.
"Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to start shooting for #FanneyKhan from Aug-end. ROMP prod, KriArj and TSeries presentation... April 2018 release," he wrote.
Aishwarya and Anil have previously worked together in Subhash Ghai's "Taal" and Satish Kaushik's "Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai".
