"The AIYC chief has informed OPCC President Prasad Harichandan about suspension of Rajat Choudhury from the post of State Youth Congress," OPCC said in a statement.
Harichandan also informed some local television channels about AIYC's decision.
Besides Choudury, CBI has also arrested senior lawyer Debasis Panda for his alleged links with Artha Tatwa Group, a major player in the chitfund scam in Odisha.
Panda was also a former lawyer of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is engaged in probing the money trail in the chitfund scam.
The duo was arrested yesterday hours after CBI interrogated AT Group's chief Pradeep Sethy in Jharpada special jail here.
