Reality TV star Ajaz Khan will be entering the current season of 'Bigg Boss' tonight as the first challenger of its new series 'Bigg Boss Halla Bol'.
Ajaz, who is currently filming his upcoming movie 'Love Day', took a break from shooting to be a part of the celebrity reality show.
"I was shooting for the film when I got a call from the channel to participate on the show. I got excited to hear the news because it was like revisiting your old home. I am thankful to my director for letting me go for the show as they feel entertainment factor is less," Ajaz told PTI before entering the house.
'Bigg Boss' season eight will crown its five champions on January 3, 2015, following which 'Bigg Boss Halla Bol' will be launched on January 4 and will be hosted by Farah Khan.
The second runner-up of last season of 'Bigg Boss' is glad to be the first challenger of the Colors show.
"I am glad and happy that I am the first challenger. I am excited to be a part of the show again. Though I didn't get time to watch each and every episode, I didn't miss Salman bhai's 'Weekend ka War'. I know Pritam and Ali from the current season," he said.
As the house is divided into two major groups -- Punit Issar and Karishma Tanna -- Ajaz said he won't be a part of any team and would play his own game.
"I don't have any strategy right now. I will enter the show with positivity, love and affection. I will be very much entertaining as my previous stint. I am not going to be a part of any existing group in the house," he said.
Ajaz has no qualms about leaving his debut lead role film as the actor feels he will be occupied with the show just for a month.
"It's a matter of month. I am just left with 10 per cent of shooting," he said.
In the film, directed by filmmaker duo Harish Kotian and Sandeep Choudhary, Ajaz is playing the role of a conman.
"The character which I am playing is of a conman, who cons people for his friends, and how one day he lands into a big trouble. The film tells the story of today's friendship. It shows how friends these days are not related to each other emotionally.
