Jain -- who has been on the board since 2009 and served as the managing director from 2009 to 2013 -- will take over from Nihal Kaviratne CBE, the company said in a statement.
Kaviratne will not be seeking re-election as the Chairman to the Board of the Company at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on August 14, 2017, due to other commitments, it said.
Jain brings with him three decades of experience in leadership roles across Asia and Europe. He was associated with Coca-Cola and Viacom/MTV in Asia earlier.
